WHAT IS THE GOSPEL?

Jesus is the bridge between man and God. He has the power to wash away our sins so that when we die, and cross back over to the other side from which we originally came, we can stand in front of God without anything to be ashamed of, or to be condemned for. All we have to do is call upon Jesus and ask that He forgive our sins.

Jesus Christ shed His blood on the cross for all of our sins; past, present, and future. He suffered, died, and was buried, and rose again on the 3rd day according to the scriptures. We are saved by grace, through faith in Christ alone, not of ourselves, not of our good works, so that no man should boast. It is grace which saves us; something that we didn’t earn, and as sinners, we do not deserve. But GOOD NEWS! God loves us so much that He gave His only begotten son to die on the cross for us, so that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life in Heaven, not Hell. God WANTS to be merciful to us, He does not want anyone to go to hell. He WANTS to love us. He WANTS to forgive us when we mess up. He WANTS us all to make it into Heaven. So He gave us Jesus, and all you have to do is let go of your pride, and humbly ask Jesus for the help and forgiveness you need. It’s SO SIMPLE!

To be forgiven of your sins, no matter what you have done, here’s what you must do:

THE ABC’S OF SALVATION

  1. ADMIT that you are a sinner in need of a Savior, that Savior being Jesus.
  2. BELIEVE that He shed His blood on the cross, and died for your sins.
  3. CALL upon His name and ask Him to forgive all of your sins, come into your life, open your eyes, and change your heart.

SAY THIS SALVATION PRAYER

Jesus you died upon a cross
And rose again to save the lost.

Forgive me now of all my sin
Come be my Savior, Lord, and friend.

Change my life and make it new
And help me Lord to live for you.

Congratulations! You’ve now accepted Jesus into your life. From this point on you should do all you can to talk to Him each day, and read/ study the word of God each day. Talk to Jesus as if He were your best friend, because He is. He cares about you and wants to be a part of each and every moment, of each and every day with you.

“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and man enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.” Matthew 7:13-14
